If quarterback recruiting was based purely on statistics, then perhaps Landyn Locke still would be in a holding pattern. After all, he appeared in just two varsity games as a sophomore last season for Rockwall (Texas) High School, completing 13-of-23 passes (56.5 percent) for 159 yards with one touchdown and one interception. But Wisconsin offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Phil Longo recognizes there is so much more to recruiting.
