MADISON – Wisconsin offensive coordinator Phil Longo likely didn't have to go far to obtain a detailed scouting report on the Badgers' first commitment for the 2025 class. The player in question: Texas quarterback Landyn Locke, who announced Thursday he has committed to UW. Older brother Braedyn Locke transferred to UW from Mississippi State last winter and is set to open camp as the Badgers' No. 2 quarterback behind Tanner Mordecai. Longo recruited the elder Locke coming out of high school and again after he entered the transfer portal.
