ROCKWALL — Three returning state medalists led the way at the Rockin' R Relays at Wikerson-Sanders Stadium. Royse City's Jonah Roberson, who was second last year in the Class 5A 400-meter dash, won his event in Rockwall in the time of 50.21 seconds. Royse City's Jacelyn Neighbors, who was third last year in the Class 5A girls pole vault, won that event with a clearance of 12 feet. Second place went to teammate Tierany Neighbors at 11-6. Claire Lowrey of Rockwall, a two-time state medalist in the Class 6A girls high jump, won that event at 5-8.
