Texas Health Rockwall's $104 million expansion is completed, nearly doubling the size of the hospital. Am eight-bed Level II neonatal intensive care unit, cardiac catheterization lab, and expanded emergency department are part of the expansion. The NICU will include two private rooms and a room for parents to sleep overnight in preparation for the expected 1,200 baby deliveries this year, around 300 percent more than in past years. Rockwall has added more than 15,000 people since April 2020. The project expanded the patient building from two to four stories, adding 32,000 square feet and renovating 51,000 square feet.
