ROCKWALL — The first day of football practice at Rockwall Monday evening felt fairly similar to last year. The Rockwall players met in their indoor facility and made the annual jog across Kyle Drive to their football field where they kicked off the start of summer workouts under the setting 100-degree sun. But as much as the traditions gave way to a similar feeling, the focus for the team did too. Last year, Rockwall had to replace three-year starting quarterback Brayden Locke who then departed for Mississippi State, but has since transferred to Wisconsin.
