After only a year and a half on the job, the Rockwall Police Department's crime analyst, Noémi Eckhoff, was recently named the Texas Law Enforcement Analyst Network's 'New Analyst of the Year.' With a master's degree in forensic science from the University of Florida, Eckhoff started her law enforcement career as a crime scene investigator for the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office. Later deciding that her skills were 'best suited for a more analytical career track,' she left the field and landed her current position with Rockwall PD.
