A Rockwall man was sentenced Wednesday to 50 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to five counts of possessing child pornography, authorities said. Stacey Christian Owens, 49, was arrested in July 2022 after Rockwall police executed a search warrant at his Rockwall home, Rockwall County district attorney's office said in a news release. The district attorney's office said the investigation into Owens began when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received information from Google that it detected child pornography in a Gmail account.
