Sep. 22—Judge Brett Hall of the 382nd District Court this week sentenced Stacey Christian Owens to 50 years in prison after Owens pled guilty to five counts of possession of child pornography. Owens, 49, was arrested in July 2022 after officers and detectives with Rockwall Police Department executed a search warrant on his home in the city of Rockwall. The search of Owens' home was the culmination of an investigation that began in February off that same year and spanned several months. The investigation began when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received information from Google that they had detected child pornography in a Google Gmail account.
