H-E-B is picking up the pace of its expansion into Dallas-Fort Worth by disclosing three more stores in the works as it prepares to open its Allen store on Oct. 4. Melissa, Prosper and Rockwall are the newest batch of stores the Texas grocer plans to start building next with expected opening dates in 2025, H-E-B said. Construction will begin on those stores next year when H-E-B is planning to open stores in Fort Worth's Alliance, Mansfield and its second store in Frisco. While H-E-B has been buying land around North Texas for 20 years, the newest stores will be built on parcels purchased more recently as population growth and new rooftops accelerated further north in Collin County and east to Rockwall and Kaufman counties.
