STARKVILLE – Mississippi State baseball will have a tough time convincing one of its top signees to come to campus.Shortstop Jett Williams was selected Sunday by the New York Mets in the first round of the 2022 MLB Draft. He was the 14th overall pick.Williams attended Rockwall-Heath High School in Texas where he has long been a top prospect.
