The Professional Pickleball Association's Texas Open, presented by Selkirk Sport, is returning to Rockwall on Wednesday through Sunday. More than 1,500 players are registered for the event at the Oasis Pickleball Club off Highway 205, including the country's top professionals and amateurs. As the number of people playing pickleball continues to grow — up to an estimated 8.9 million in 2022 — the PPA tour continues to attract thousands of live viewers, including individuals who travel to the area specifically for the tour.
