Attom Data Solutions' Rick Sharga (LinkedIn, iStock) Investors in Dallas-Fort Worth flipped 2,600 homes and condos in the first quarter, more than double the number a year earlier, according to data from Attom Data Solutions. That's double the number of homes flipped in North Texas a year ago and represents 13 percent of all sales in DFW, the Dallas Morning News reported. Attom defines a flip as a property that has had multiple transactions within the past 12 months. 'The good news for fix-and-flip investors is that demand remains strong from prospective homebuyers, as evidenced by this quarter's report, which shows that one of every 10 homes sold during Q1 was a flip,' said Rick Sharga, executive vice president of market intelligence for Attom Data Solutions, in a statement.
