As we dive into the tape breakdown of Ohio State superstar Jaxon Smith-Njigba, I want to start by saying this: JSN's 60 receptions for 958 yards and six touchdowns in his last FIVE games to end the 2021 season is just one of the most insane stat lines I've ever seen. It's not easy to stand out in a wide receiver unit that includes Chris Olave and Garrett Wilson, but Smith-Njigba did exactly that — and then some, as his 95 receptions and 1,606 yards receiving set school records. The Texas native topped off a spectacular sophomore season with a Rose Bowl performance for the ages with 15 catches for 347 receiving yards and three touchdowns on a Buckeye squad that was short handed with opt-outs for the NFL Draft.
